I will be doing my final paper on Social Networking Hardware and Software and Student Learning. I will be looking at the pros and cons of using social networking for students and the impact on student learning.
I think that is a great topic, I mean lets face it, that is how our kids are communicating, why not take advantage of it. Engagement seems to be a struggle these days in our division, particularly for our older students, so if we can harness that passion for educational purposes, I say go for it!
